Sunday, August 18, 2024 – The congregation gathered on Sunday to celebrate the Feast of the Assumption of St. Mary, a day marked by reverence and tradition. The Blessing of Grapes service was held at the conclusion of the Liturgy, honoring an ancient custom symbolizing the fruit of the earth and the generosity of the Creator.
After Badarak, parishioners were invited to a Potluck fellowship hour, where a variety of homemade dishes were shared among the community. A special thanks goes to Lisa Kouzoujian for her exceptional coordination of the potluck luncheon. The church also gratefully acknowledges all who contributed their culinary talents, making the event a memorable occasion for everyone in attendance.
