On Thursday, March 30th the St. Gregory Women’s Guild Thrift & Gift Shoppe volunteer staff, parishioners and customers participated in “Operation Baby Shower”. This is a Westchester community mission to support U.S. military & veteran Moms-to-be. It took place at the American Legion Post 1038, where a 6:00pm supper party was hosted at 27 Legion Drive, Valhalla NY.Many St. Gregory Women’s Guild members, family & friends participated by generously donating homemade knit & crocheted blankets, booties, hats, outfits, bibs, and more. Approximately 50 “new” items were also donated directly from our loyal Thrift Shoppe customers & volunteer staff.
Everything from crib sets & diaper “genies” to books & stuffed toys, as well as photo frames & child themed wall art was in abundance from our donors.
