We commemorated Holy Week and the last days of our Lord’s life on earth with ancient, solemn, and meaningful church services. This year along with the Washing of the Feet service we performed the Remembrance of the Ten Maidens service.
The Washing of Feet service commemorates how Christ washed the feet of His apostles, setting an example of humility and love. The priest in turn washes the feet of twelve church members.
