Women’s Guild Day

On Sunday, June 2nd, 2024, St. Gregory the Enlightener celebrated Women’s Guild Day with heartfelt enthusiasm and unity. Women’s Guild members took an active role in assisting the Parish Council during the Liturgy, serving as greeters, scripture readers, and choir participants. A solemn Hokehonkist requiem service in the Sanctuary allowed everyone to cherish fond memories of our beloved past WG members.

In addition to their spiritual contributions, parishioners generously participated in a second plate collection benefiting CASP (Children of Armenian Sponsorship Program), one of the many missions supported by the Women’s Guild and the Diocese.

Following the Liturgy, WG members gathered in the Atrium for generous Fellowship refreshments. Later, in Tutak Hall, they convened for a brief Membership meeting led by Dawn Papalian, followed by a hands-on tutorial on crafting Jingalov Hats, a traditional Armenian snack consisting of seared dough stuffed with flavorful herbs and greens. This engaging session brought together multiple generations, fostering camaraderie and cultural appreciation among all attendees.
