The ACYOA Juniors of St. Gregory came together to prepare Thanksgiving meals for the seniors of our parish. They also enjoyed a hands-on experience learning how to prepare sweet soujuk with walnuts — a special Armenian treat.
Thanks to their hard work and the support of our parishioners, about 40 Thanksgiving meals were prepared and delivered to our seniors, bringing warmth, gratitude, and joy to their homes.
We express our heartfelt appreciation to the ACYOA Juniors’ advisers for leading this meaningful project, and to all the juniors and volunteers who assisted with meal preparation, packing, and delivery. Your teamwork and generosity made this outreach possible and more meaningful.
The sweet soujuks prepared by the Juniors will be on sale this Sunday, following the services, as a fundraiser in support of the ACYOA Juniors. We invite everyone to support our youth and enjoy this delicious handmade treat.
