St. Gregory the Enlightener Women’s Guild FUNraiser

Sunday, July 17, St. Gregory the Enlightener Women’s Guild sponsored a FUNdraiser to benefit Fuller Center for Housing in Armenia. This annual event was very well attended by over 90 participants (young babies to fun loving seniors). The yearly theme is an ALL-AMERICAN BBQ to benefit those in need of housing in Armenia. The traditional BBQ favorites; luscious desserts were in abundance and enjoyed by all able to attend, including many new parishioners, extended families; friends of St. Gregory.

Very generous donations were received from folks present, as well as those not able to join in the fun of the day. In addition to direct contributions, net proceeds from this event will go to support St. Gregory’s 11th House. Each house costs $10,500 to complete. Just ten years ago, our WG took on the challenge to help St. Gregory the Enlightener parish complete “10 houses in 10 years” proposed by Harry Keleshian (deceased) and his wife Edna. Her humble generosity continues to shine as a major benefactor helping those Armenian citizens in need of proper housing via this mission.

A heartfelt thank you to ALL the faithful & generous donors, with sincere gratitude especially to the Women’s Guild & Men’s Club team who planned & executed this very successful St.

Gregory event. On we go….house #12 ready or not, we’re here to help!!
